Frequently asked questions
Does the PDF preserve PNG transparency?
Yes. Transparent PNG areas stay transparent in the embedded PDF.
Why use PNG to PDF instead of JPG to PDF?
Use PNG when the source already has transparency, sharp edges (text, line art), or has been edited multiple times — PNG is lossless. Use JPG for photos to keep file size down.
How many PNGs can I combine?
Up to 50 per session. Browser memory is the practical limit for very large images.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser via pdf-lib.
