How to convert PNG images to PDF

Combine one or more PNG files into a single PDF document.

  1. 1

    Open PNG to PDF

    Go to makemypdf.com/png-to-pdf.

  2. 2

    Add your PNG images

Drop screenshots, scans, or graphics onto the upload area. Up to 50 images at once.

  3. 3

    Reorder the images

Drag thumbnails to set page order. The first image becomes page 1.

  4. 4

    Pick a page size

A4 or Letter scales each image to fit a standard sheet. "Fit to image" makes each PDF page exactly the dimensions of its source image.

  5. 5

    Download the PDF

pdf-lib stitches the images into one file you can save.

Frequently asked questions

Does the PDF preserve PNG transparency?

Yes. Transparent PNG areas stay transparent in the embedded PDF.

Why use PNG to PDF instead of JPG to PDF?

Use PNG when the source already has transparency, sharp edges (text, line art), or has been edited multiple times — PNG is lossless. Use JPG for photos to keep file size down.

How many PNGs can I combine?

Up to 50 per session. Browser memory is the practical limit for very large images.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The PDF is built in your browser via pdf-lib.
