Frequently asked questions
What resolution are the output images?
Pages are rendered at roughly 150 DPI by default, which is good for screen use. Quality-level controls JPG compression, not resolution.
Does conversion happen on a server?
No. PDF.js renders pages locally and the canvas is encoded as JPG in-browser.
Can I convert just one page?
The tool converts the whole PDF. To grab a single page, first use Extract Pages, then convert the 1-page PDF.
